If you check out with your first Bread Pay™ SplitPay loan, you will not be able to take out another Bread Pay SplitPay loan until after you pay back the first Bread Pay SplitPay loan. If you decide to use Bread Pay SplitPay again in the future, you may be eligible to have more than one Bread Pay SplitPay loan at the same time. Different credit qualifications may apply for Bread Pay™ Installment loans.

You can make payments for Bread Pay SplitPay™ via a personal debit card or credit card. You cannot make Bread Pay SplitPay payments with a business debit card, ACH, or by check. Additionally, Bread Financial™ does not accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) payment cards because we are not designated as a health services retailer.

With Bread Pay SplitPay™, we break down the total cost of your purchase into four equal installments, due every two weeks. Your first payment is due at the time of purchase. The remaining three payments will be automatically processed every two weeks until the purchase is paid off.

Please note that Bread Pay SplitPay payments must be made on a debit card or credit card with sufficient funds. We cannot accept Bread Pay SplitPay payments by ACH, bank transfer, or pre-paid cards.

Unfortunately, we are unable to change or add to an order that has already been placed.

SplitPay is a payment option that enables you to pay for your purchase with four equal interest free payments using a credit card or debit card.

Typically the value of your purchase must be between $50-$1,000 however the amount may vary by retailer. Visit a participating retailer, choose Bread Pay SplitPay™, and proceed with checking your eligibility

Yes, the next three payments will be taken out automatically every 2 weeks over the next 6 weeks.

When you check out with Bread Pay SplitPay™, a temporary authorization hold will be placed on your debit or credit card for the second payment. This hold will be voided immediately but depending on your financial institution it may remain for up to 7 days. If you have any questions about this authorization, please contact your financial institution.

We will retry charging your payment method 1 day later for the original amount. If this initial retry fails, we will add the original payment amount to your next scheduled payment. We will continue to retry your payment method until the last payment.

If your payments continue to fail, and your Bread Pay SplitPay™ account charges off, you will no longer be eligible for Bread Pay SplitPay. We reserve the right to report to credit bureaus in the future.

For Bread Pay SplitPay™, payments will be due every two weeks from the date of checkout.

After the retailer processes your return, a partial or full refund is automatically applied to your Bread Pay SplitPay™ purchase.

For partial refunds, we will deduct the amount from your last scheduled payment first. For example, if you made a purchase of $1000 and returned $500, we would cancel your last two Bread Pay SplitPay payments of $250 each. If you have already made these payments, we would refund the appropriate amounts.

After the retailer processes your return, a partial refund will be issued to your transaction and your Bread Pay SplitPay™ balance will adjust accordingly. Any remaining installments will be adjusted (starting with your last installment and moving backward).

For example, if you made a purchase of $1000 and returned $500, we would cancel your last two Bread Pay SplitPay payments of $250 each. If you have already made these payments, we would refund the appropriate amounts.

Any payment refunds will be credited back to your original payment method.

If you are eligible, you will be presented with sample payment plan options available to you. Simply select a payment plan you would like and once you are done shopping, proceed to the register to complete your purchase and check out with Bread.
